What is the POP YachtDock?
A 14 x 7 ft inflatable floating dock from POP Board Co. with a solid deck, no net, sold by Canadian Board Co. in Kelowna, BC. It's built to tie off behind the boat, extend your dock or float out front.
How much weight can it hold?
3,000+ lbs spread across the deck.
How much does it weigh?
82 lbs, our biggest and heaviest dock. It's a two-person carry with the straps, but it still rolls up small enough for a car trunk, the boat or the garage.
How long does setup take?
12 to 15 minutes with the dual-action hand pump in the box, and quicker with an electric pump. Pump it to 7 PSI (anywhere from 5 to 7 works).
AquaDock or YachtDock?
Same 14 x 7 ft size. The AquaDock has a net lounger that sits in the water and holds 2,000+ lbs. The YachtDock is solid deck end to end and holds 3,000+ lbs, so it's the pick for chairs, coolers and a crowd. Full comparison
Are the cup holders included?
The dock has 6 cup holder mounts on top. The cup holders are sold separately, and you can add them under Complete your setup near the top of this page.
Can I use it in salt water?
Yes. Rinse it with fresh water after salt water and let it dry fully before you store it.
Can I leave it out all summer?
Yes, it's built to stay on the water all season. Check the air pressure regularly and secure it before big storms. At the end of the season, deflate, rinse and dry it fully before you store it. Winter storage guide
Do I need a permit for a floating dock in Canada?
Rules vary by province, municipality and lake. A removable inflatable dock is usually a simpler path than a permanent dock because nothing is built into the shoreline, but check with your municipality or conservation authority before you anchor it. What cottage owners should know
