Important to Know
What Warranty Does Not Cover
Warranty coverage is designed for material manufacturer defects. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, impact, improper storage, transport damage, normal wear, or use outside the product’s intended purpose.
Impact or Mishandling Damage
Damage from rocks, docks, shore impact, boats, airline travel, rolling or dragging on concrete, improper loading, unloading, or shipping.
Improper Storage
Damage or defects caused by inappropriate storage, overexposure to direct sunlight, or storage outside recommended temperature conditions.
Normal Wear and Tear
Wear from regular use, chips, cracks, color fading, and cosmetic changes that are not material manufacturer defects.
Lost, Stolen, or Modified Products
Products that are lost, stolen, modified, used outside instructions, or used for purposes they were not designed for.
Commercial or Bulk Purchases
Products purchased in bulk, with bulk discount, used for commercial purposes, or purchased used are not covered under this limited warranty.
Third-Party Purchases
Warranty applies only to eligible products purchased through CanadianBoardCo.com by the original purchaser.

Boards are not eligible for a refund after the 60-day free return policy. If you are inside the return window and the gear is not right for you, review the refund policy. If you believe your product has a material manufacturer defect, start a warranty claim.

Limited Warranty Overview
Canadian Board Co. supplies a non-transferable, limited warranty to the original consumer buyer of Canadian Board Co. products against material manufacturer defects arising under normal use of the purchased products.
Some items are excluded from the limited warranties. Warranty duration and eligibility depend on the product category, brand, purchase channel, and use case.
Limited Warranty Duration
- 3 years from date of purchase on inflatable paddleboards, inflatable docks, and planks.
- 1 year from date of purchase on electric pumps and other electronic items.
- 1 year from date of purchase on accessory products included with paddleboard packages.
- 30 days from date of purchase on Kanuk Board Co. products.
- 2 years from date of purchase on rigid paddleboards.
- 5 years from date of purchase on Rover Marine Battle Boat and Battle Cat seams and manufacturer defects.
- 1 to 2 years from date of purchase on Mustang Material. Please refer to Mustang’s warranty terms for full details.
Covered Material Manufacturer Defects
- Seam leaks.
- Valve leaks.
- Improper construction.
Paddleboard Product Exclusions
- Misuse of the product.
- Products that were lost or stolen.
- Damage caused by impact to rocks, docks, shore-pound, boats, or similar impact.
- Damage caused by normal wear and tear.
- Damage or defects caused by inappropriate storage in temperatures over 27°C or under -5°C.
- Indents or texture on PVC resulting from drop-stitch construction.
- Damage caused by transportation.
- Damage to a fin or fin box caused by impact.
- Damage caused by overexposure or storage in direct sunlight.
- Damage caused by mishandling, including airline travel, improper loading or unloading, rolling or dragging on concrete, or shipping.
- Acts of God, fire, or casualty.
- Failure to exercise normal maintenance.
- Use for purposes the product was not designed for.
- Damage to the valve caused by loosening the valve to deflate.
- Aftermarket modifications or uses not provided by the instruction manual or product documentation.
Accessory Product Exclusions
- Misuse of accessory products.
- Accessory products that were lost or stolen.
- Accessory products used for commercial purposes.
- Damage due to falling on a paddle.
- Paddle filling with water.
- Accessory products sinking.
- Damage caused by use outside the accessory product’s intended purpose.
- Normal wear and tear, chips, cracks, and similar damage.
- Impact damage from rocks, docks, shore-pound, or similar conditions.
- Color fading.
- Acts of God, fire, or casualty.
- Failure to exercise normal maintenance.
- Mishandling, improper travel, improper loading or unloading, rolling or dragging on concrete, or shipping damage.
- Aftermarket modifications or uses outside product instructions.
Warranty Process and Remedy
Canadian Board Co. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to repair or replace products deemed acceptable for a warranty claim. The buyer may be responsible for shipping costs associated with sending items in for repair or replacement.
To make a warranty claim, submit proof of purchase and delivery, a written summary of the defect, photos of the defect, serial number when applicable, and your name, phone number, email, and return mailing address.
Products not submitted through the warranty claim process within the stated warranty period may be deemed accepted by the buyer.
Product Warnings
You are responsible for reading and following product warnings and instructions that accompany any items purchased from Canadian Board Co. Products must be used safely and responsibly. Replacement of a warrantied product may be contingent on the return of the defective or warrantied item.

Can I get a refund through warranty?
Warranty claims are handled separately from returns. Boards are not eligible for a refund after the 60-day free return policy. Warranty remedies may include repair, replacement, troubleshooting, or other support depending on the claim.
